I didn't realize that paintball was a competitive sport in college but this was pretty cool to see two prestigious schools like Purdue and Ohio going at it on a paintball field. It's exactly like one of the announcers says... "it just adds legitimacy to the sport..."
Watching this competition though they have to add something to the game because it's a little too plain at the college level right now. Well actually I think you could say the same thing about the Pro level paintball game right now as well.
Both college and the pro ranks are trying to make the game too much like a professional sport right now. What you have to do is take advantage of what makes you unique and in paintball I would say the most unique factor in the sport that you can capitalize on is the field that you play on and right now the college and pro ranks are doing themselves a major dis-service by playing paintball on a typical sports field with a bunch of balloons spread about.
Paintball game could be a lot better in my opinion.
